I'm Yan (42) and I've been fishing with my parents ever since I was a kid. When I was 14, my parents saw an article in the newspaper (nicematin) announcing a fishing competition on the Promenade des Anglais, so I signed up and finished 6th overall among the adults, and the competition was on.
At the same time, I was a recreational boat fisherman, with a few French records for big fish to my credit.
Now I've switched to boat racing and we've formed a team (Watanga) and created an association (azur pêche plaisance) that allows us to share our passion and introduce people to the world of the sea.
And since 12 years I have a son Kilyan, who follows me in my adventures since these 3 years. And I think he's going to take my place. He's even more passionate than I am. So if you have any questions, don't hesitate. Thank you
